Efficiency is the keyword here. If you need a chopper and a grinder than this product is for you. It is able to process any fruit or vegetable with just the push of a button. The ingredients are nicely processed and you will be happy with the result. It does its job perfectly.
First of all, we would to highlight the absence of different set of speeds. DLC-4CHB only processes in one speed and that is not ideal. The control panel only has 2 buttons, one to Chop and another to Grind at fixed speeds, no pulse, no high or low. We at TechChef believe those important features are lacking and should be implemented in an upgraded version of this product. This being said, Cuisinart DLC-4CHB has a 4-cup capacity bowl and features an Auto-reversing SmartPower Blade for the two processing options.
If treated with care and with ocasional maintenance this cheap product was built to last many years. It is made of brushed stainless steel, a strong and resistent type of material, and plastic. It’s a durable food processor with a simple and intuitive design.
It was designed to be extremely user-friendly, as you can tell by the 2 buttons control panel. It is without a doubt one of the easiest kitchen appliances currently in the market, pratically no learning curve, perfect for first-time owners. It’s dishwasher safe so can be easily and quickly cleaned after each use.
It’s a cheap product ($38.38 at the time of this review), but should be even cheaper considering the lack of features and small-sized bowl (not a negative aspect, just a particularity). TechChef believes this product should be priced at $19.99.
